These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of www.volthome.com (the “Site”) and the products and services offered by Solar Volt Inc., d/b/a Volt Home (“Volt Home,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, requesting a quote, or purchasing our products or services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. Purchases are also governed by the written installation or purchase agreement you sign with us (“Project Agreement”); if these Terms and a Project Agreement conflict, the Project Agreement controls for that project.
Volt Home serves customers in Florida and California. Licenses: FL Solar CVC57149 · FL HVAC CAC1823089 · FL Roofing CCC1335512 · CA C-46 Solar 1135786.
We design, sell, and install residential solutions including solar energy systems, Tesla Solar Roof, battery storage (including Tesla Powerwall), roofing, HVAC, impact windows and doors, EV chargers, water treatment systems, and interior and exterior remodeling. Service availability varies by location, and we may decline any project due to site conditions, permitting, or service-area limitations. Product descriptions on the Site are informational; your project’s exact scope and equipment are defined in your Project Agreement.
Free quotes and consultations are not binding offers. Preliminary estimates may change after site assessment, engineering review, or permit requirements, and become binding only when included in a signed Project Agreement. Savings projections, energy production estimates, and payback figures are estimates only — not guarantees — and depend on factors outside our control, such as usage, weather, shading, and utility rates.
Prices are set in your Project Agreement and, unless stated otherwise, exclude taxes, permit fees, and additional work discovered after commencement. Promotions, discounts, giveaways, and referral rewards are valid only for the period and territory stated, cannot be combined unless expressly stated, may be modified or discontinued before a Project Agreement is signed, and are subject to their own published rules.
Volt Home is not a lender. Financing is offered through independent third-party lenders, subject to their credit approval and terms. All rates, payments, and fees are set solely by the lender in your loan documents. We make no guarantees regarding credit approval or financing terms.
Installations are performed by Volt Home or licensed, insured subcontractors under our supervision. Installation dates are good-faith estimates and may shift due to weather, permitting, utility approvals, or equipment availability. If unforeseen conditions require additional work, we will obtain your written approval through a change order before proceeding, except where immediate action is required for safety. We obtain required permits and coordinate inspections; however, permit, interconnection, and Permission-to-Operate timelines are controlled by government agencies and utilities, and we are not responsible for their delays or denials. Net metering and interconnection terms are set by your utility and may change at any time.
You agree to: provide accurate information about your property and energy usage; confirm you own the property or have the owner’s written authorization; provide reasonable access to work areas; secure personal property and keep children and pets away during work; disclose known conditions affecting the work (prior leaks, unpermitted work, HOA restrictions, buried lines); obtain any required HOA approvals; and refrain from unauthorized modifications or third-party service that would void warranties. Failure to do so may cause delays, additional charges, or limited warranty coverage.
If your purchase is covered by federal or state “cooling-off” laws, you may cancel without penalty within three (3) business days of signing (five (5) business days in California for buyers 65 or older on qualifying contracts); the required cancellation notice is provided with your Project Agreement. Cancellation and refund terms after that period — including charges for permits, engineering, or custom-ordered materials — are set forth in your Project Agreement. We may cancel and refund amounts paid (less costs where permitted by law) if a site assessment reveals the project is unsafe, non-compliant, or impracticable.
Equipment we install is covered by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty (for example, solar panels typically carry a 25-year manufacturer performance warranty and inverters approximately 12.5 years; Tesla and Puronics® products carry their manufacturers’ warranties). Manufacturer terms are set by each manufacturer, not Volt Home; we will reasonably assist with claims but are not responsible for a manufacturer’s performance. Volt Home warrants its installation workmanship for the period stated in your Project Agreement, and HVAC services advertised with our 1-year service guarantee are covered for one year from completion. Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, unauthorized modification or repair, acts of nature except as covered by the manufacturer, pre-existing property conditions, normal wear, power surges or grid events, or lack of routine maintenance. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
Statements about lower bills, savings, return on investment, or increased home value are illustrative, not guarantees; actual results vary by home, usage, weather, equipment, and utility rates. Battery backup covers limited circuits for a limited duration depending on configuration and usage; no system guarantees uninterrupted power. References to tax credits, rebates, or incentives are informational only — Volt Home does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice, and eligibility depends on your circumstances and on programs that change over time. Consult a tax professional.
We install products manufactured by third parties, including Tesla and Puronics®. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for product identification only.
Our Referral Program and any giveaways or sweepstakes are governed by their own official rules published on the Site. Rewards are paid only after the referred project is completed and paid per the program terms and may be taxable income. We may modify or end promotional programs prospectively; changes will not affect rewards already earned.
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to: submit false or fraudulent information; impersonate others or submit someone’s contact information without consent; interfere with the Site’s operation or security; use bots or scrapers without permission; transmit harmful code; or violate others’ rights. We may suspend access for violations.
All Site content — text, graphics, logos, images, videos, designs, and software — belongs to Volt Home or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes only; any other use requires our written consent. By submitting reviews, photos, or testimonials, you grant Volt Home a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use them for marketing purposes.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices; use them at your own risk.
Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information and forms part of these Terms.

By providing your mobile number and opting in (for example, by submitting a form on our Site or checking the SMS consent box), you consent to receive text messages from Volt Home at that number for appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third party; opt-in data is shared only as necessary to deliver the messaging service. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive calls from Volt Home about your inquiry or project, including via automated technology where permitted by law; consent to marketing calls is not a condition of purchase, and you may revoke it at any time. We honor the National Do Not Call Registry. You also consent to receive agreements and notices electronically, and agree that electronic signatures have the same effect as handwritten ones under applicable law.
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. Site content, including blog posts and program descriptions, is general information and not professional, legal, tax, or engineering advice; we may correct errors at any time.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOLT HOME WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST SAVINGS, AND OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100 FOR CLAIMS RELATING SOLELY TO USE OF THE SITE. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury, or your non-waivable rights under consumer protection and contractor licensing laws.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Volt Home and its officers, employees, agents, and subcontractors from claims and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, misuse of the Site, inaccurate information you provide, or violation of any law or third-party right.
If you have a dispute, contact us first at contact@volthome.com — most concerns can be resolved informally. These Terms are governed by Florida law, except that California projects and California consumers’ rights are governed by California law where required. Venue for Site-related disputes lies in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless consumer protection law provides otherwise. California customers: contractors are licensed and regulated by the Contractors State License Board, P.O. Box 26000, Sacramento, CA 95826 — www.cslb.ca.gov.
We may update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance. Signed Project Agreements remain governed by the terms in effect when signed.
