Day / Solar generation
Illustrative home. Solar panels on the roof, battery on the exterior wall, windows along the front, and EV charger by the driveway.
Made here. Used here.Solar energy moves from the panels to the battery, EV charger, home, and utility grid.

Energy, connected

Follow the sun.

During the day, solar can charge the battery, supply the EV charger and home, and export surplus energy to the utility grid.

  1. 01Solar → Home
  2. 02Solar → Battery
  3. 03Solar → EV charger
  4. 04Solar → Utility grid

The grid remains connected. Import or export depends on generation, demand, system settings, and utility arrangements.

Illustrative flows, not a performance forecast. Backup requires compatible equipment and sufficient battery charge; EV charging during an outage is not guaranteed.

Energy: day, night & blackout

Day: solar panels charge the battery, power the EV charger and home, and export surplus energy to the utility grid when permitted.

Night: the battery and utility grid supply the home. Solar and EV charging are inactive in this example.

Blackout: the utility connection is isolated. Only the battery supplies the backed-up home loads. Backup requires compatible equipment and sufficient battery charge.

Roof replacement

  1. Remove the existing covering.
  2. Inspect the deck; repair if needed.
  3. Install protective layers.
  4. Install the roof covering.
  5. Complete finishing details and inspection.

The selected assembly and local requirements determine the actual sequence.

Window components

The frame supports the assembly. Glazing is the glass within the frame. Seals help close the joints between components. This diagram does not establish any product's tested performance.

HVAC: heating, cooling and care

Central AC cools through ducts. A heat pump can heat and cool; ductless systems serve selected spaces. Match equipment to the home with a load calculation, then review airflow, humidity and maintenance.

From the first conversation

A clear path
to your next project.

  1. 01

    Start with your home

Share your goals, your location, and the services you are considering. For solar, a recent electricity bill helps start the conversation.

  2. 02

    Build the plan

Review the site conditions, equipment options, project scope, and estimate. The right solution begins with the details of your property.

  3. 03

    Bring it together

Move through the agreed permitting, installation, and inspection steps. Your project agreement defines the work and responsibilities.

Before you begin

Good questions.
Clear starting points.

Can I explore more than one service?

Yes. Select any combination of Solar, Roofing, Windows & Doors, and HVAC in the quote form. Our team will discuss how the services fit your property.

Does solar keep my home powered at night?

Solar panels do not generate at night. A compatible battery can supply stored energy, and the grid can supply electricity. Actual operation depends on system design, battery charge, and your home's demand.

Which windows are available in my area?

The right window or door depends on the opening, local code, exposure, and your goals. VOLT currently offers impact-rated windows and doors in Florida; they are not available in California yet. Ratings and approvals must match the exact product and installation.

What happens when I complete this form?

When your submission succeeds, VOLT receives your contact information, property address, and project details. Our team can then respond to your inquiry. Submitting the form does not book an appointment or create an installation contract.
